Bacon wrapped fresh corn....
So the saying is...
Everything is better with bacon...
I decided that I would
try the bacon wrapped around
some....fresh sweet CORN!
It
was
delicious.
First...what you need is some
homegrown sweet corn.
Shuck it and wash it.
Next...you will need some aluminum foil, bacon and season salt...
Wrap each cob in bacon. It really takes 2 thin slices to wrap each one.
After wrapping, sprinkle with season salt on all sides and
wrap tightly with the
foil.
These will need to cook about 15-20 minutes, depending on the
doneness that you prefer.
I took the corn out of
the foil at about
10 minutes and cooked
it on the flame for about 5 minutes so that the bacon would be crispy.
You can use your judgement.
As usual. I loved this!
